Involvement of NEPHA during during Family Day Celebration 2076 at Dhangadhi

On September 18, 2019 (Asoj 1, 2076), Family Planning Day was celebrated at Dhangadhi, Kailali along with Rally & Interaction program. The main objective of the program was to raise awareness regarding family planning as well as interact about family planning status & challenges. Health Office, Kailali had organized rally & interaction program in support of UNFPA, FPAN, I-PAS, PSI, World Vision, Geruwa, SUAAHARA, GIZ, NFCC and Nepal Public Health Association (NEPHA). Initially rally was started from health office, Kailali. There was the involvement of health students from different health college, stakeholders from governmental, non-governmental sectors & local people in rally. After rally interaction program was done at health training center, Dhangadhi. Opinions about family planning status, challenges was expressed by different stakeholders. Expressing opinion NEPHA president Daya Krishna Pant told to raise awareness about misconception of people about family planning devices at all levels.
